The objective of this project was to create a conceptual ad series for The Home Depot in Waukesha, WI. This series focuses on the target audience of families through utilizing humor and ‘dad jokes.’ The dad joke series can be used for Father’s Day or year-round, and the purpose of the series is to advertise Home Depot in a way that hasn’t been done before. This is not the typical Home Depot advertisement that is usually seen. Thinking conceptually and out of the box, my partner, Summer Stubblebine, and I thought it best that incorporating humorous drawings would be a great way to reach and engage the whole family.
